Manuel Quintero, 66, passed away in Summerfield, Florida on November 26, 2025.
He was born on February 15, 1959. Manuel Quintero was born and raised in New York. He dedicated his life to working with racehorses. The number of champions he cared for is very long, but one of the most notable is Seattle Slew, the tenth winner of the American Triple Crown.
Until his passing, he worked for McPeek Racing here in Summerfield, Florida as a hotwalker. The racehorse community is mourning his loss.
