Market Square at Lake Sumter Landing was surrounded by classic cars, hot rods and sports cars Friday night as the five car clubs in The Villages held a special car show.

For the past several years, the Mustang, Camaro, Mopar, Miata and Chrysler clubs have joined together in fundraising activities to support the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office’s Kids, Cops & Christmas program benefiting area youth. This year, the car clubs raised $11,941 through various fundraising activities.
