A Wildwood woman was arrested after a deputy learned she was driving with a license suspended for unpaid traffic fines.

A deputy was on patrol when he ran the tag on a white Ford F-150 near the intersection of County Roads 229 and 466 in Oxford around 7 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. He learned the registered owner, 38-year-old Danielle Renae Dame, had her license suspended for unpaid traffic fines and stopped her as a result.

Dame advised that she did not know her license was suspended, but law enforcement databases showed she had been given notice. It was also determined she had previous convictions for driving while license suspended, the report said.

She was subsequently arrested on charge of driving while license suspended and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
