Timothy Scott Drake, a resident of Summerfield, Florida, and formerly of Orwell, New York, was born on May 19, 1988, and passed away on December 15, 2025.
He leaves behind a legacy of resilience, warmth, and meaningful connections with those who knew and loved him. Timothy grew up in Orwell, New York, where he formed lasting roots and memories before later making his home in Summerfield, Florida. Throughout his life, he faced the challenges of autism and diabetes with courage and perseverance. These lifelong struggles ultimately contributed to his passing, but they never defined the depth of his character or the joy he found in the things he loved.
Timothy had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was proud of anything Realtree and was a devoted fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also held a strong admiration for firefighting—a calling embraced by both his father and paternal grandfather during their lifetimes—which gave him a lasting sense of pride and connection to family tradition. Known for his gentle nature, loyalty, and kind heart, Timothy touched many lives through his sincerity and compassion. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. He is survived by his mother, Dawn (King) Drake; his younger brother, Shawn Drake; and his aunt, Vonda King.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scott Drake; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Joyce King; his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Jane Drake; and his paternal uncles, Shawn Drake and Timothy Drake, after whom Timothy Scott Drake and his younger brother, Shawn, were named. Those who loved Timothy will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and will continue to honor his life and spirit.
