Barbara June Hunt-Batten, 89, passed away in Bushnell, Florida on December 21, 2025.
She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on December 25, 1935 to Ernest and Mary Turner. Barbara was a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. She was a sweet, giving person and never had a negative thing to say. Barbara enjoyed shopping, especially on the Home Shopping Network. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She is survived by her son: Robert Randall Hunt of Floral City, Florida; grandchildren: Robert Jerry Hunt II of Omega Georgia, Tiffany Alana Santana of Tifton, Georgia, Amanda Jean Hunt of Bushnell, Florida and Robbie Lee Hunt of Bushnell, Florida and many great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, A.L. “Buck” and Mary Elizabeth Woodard, sister, Lois Vann, son, David Alan Hunt, and granddaughter, Melissa Gail Hunt.
A visitation will be held at Bay Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:30 p.m.
