Utility crews are on the scene of a water main break just south of the U.S. 301 at State Road 44 intersection in Wildwood.

The break is affecting a significant number of utility customers in and around the downtown area.

“Our team is working as quickly as possible with partners to identify all nearby utilities so that repairs can begin,” said City Manager Jason McHugh. “Clearly, we want to restore water to our customers as fast as we can while adhering to all necessary and appropriate safety protocols.”
