Michele Probst Blocker, 72, of The Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on January 8, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, Michele was the daughter of Beatrice and Henry Probst. She grew up in Lyndhurst before settling in Livingston, New Jersey, where she graduated from Livingston High School in 1971. Michele spent many years doing what she loved-working in cosmetology-where her warmth, creativity, and ability to make others feel beautiful shined through. In 2003, she retired to The Villages, a place she happily called home.
Michele had a heart for animals, especially dogs and horses, and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved relaxing by the pool, catching the latest movie, and most of all, spending meaningful time with family and friends. Her laughter, kindness, and steady presence made every gathering better just by her being there.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry Blocker; her bonus daughter, Jennifer Miller; Jennifer’s husband, Paul Miller; and her cherished grandson, Jake Miller. Michele is also survived by her beloved sister, Roni Potocco, of The Villages. She was predeceased by her sister, Peggy Boyd.
Michele was a devoted wife, sister, bonus mom, and loyal friend. She had a gentle strength and a generous heart, and she leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
