
Jacqueline Hope Hart, 84, passed away in Sumterville, Florida on January 5, 2026.
She was born in Fort Myers, Florida on October 23, 1941 to Hoke and Abby Pigott. Jacqueline was a long-time member of North Fort Myers Church of God and Broadway Church of God. She was the founder of the Lee Riders 4-H Club of Fort Myers, Florida and an active parent and volunteer of numerous 4-H clubs in Fort Myers.
She was a beloved matriarch of her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Jacqueline was the owner and founder of Abby’s Flower Shop and a Florida Affair. She was loved by all who knew her, and she gave everything she had to her family.
She is survived by her son: Gary M Hart (Sheila) of Walterboro, South Carolina; daughters: Heidi Scannell (Buddy) of Fort Myers, Florida, Blythe Giammattei (Carlos) of Ocala, Florida and Jacqueline Maddox (Guy) of Webster, Florida; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hoke and Louis Pigott, her husband, Melvyn D. Hart and her grandson, Gary A. Hart.
