A father who had not paid child support was arrested after rolling through a stop sign on the way out of Wawa.
A deputy parked at Wawa, on U.. 301 in Oxford, saw 29-year-old Jibril Rashaad Jackson of Tampa leave the parking lot in a white Volkswagen Passat around 9:05 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle then rolled through a stop sign to turn right onto County Road 466. The deputy stopped Jackson behind Aldi, located at 3915 E CR 466. Jackson handed over his license, which had been suspended on Jan. 20 for unpaid child support, the report said.
Jackson was subsequently arrested for driving while license suspended and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was set at $1,000.
