A Villager has registered as a sex offender after a conviction last year in Virginia.
Edmond Timothy Ray, 63, who lives at 3165 Atwell Ave. in the Village of Polo Ridge, registered as a sex offender this past week, according to information from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He was convicted in August 2025 of a sex offense, specifically “object sexual penetration,” in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The victim was a female under the age of 12 and Ray will remain on sex offender probation through August 2027. The offense dates back to 2004, according to Florida Department of Corrections records.
Ray purchased his home in The Villages in 2023.
