Clarence Nahm passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on November 27, 1939, in St. Louis, Missouri, Buddy touched the lives of many with his energetic spirit and humorous nature.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Buddy exemplified dedication throughout his life. He enjoyed a distinguished career as a truck driver for UPS, where he devoted over 35 years of service and was honored as a member of the UPS Hall of Fame. In addition to his life on the road, he was a basic flight instructor, showcasing his diverse talents and deep love for aviation.

A true adventurer at heart, Buddy remained active throughout his life. He enjoyed scuba diving, tennis, golf, horseshoes, archery, fishing, and flying. He also cherished dancing and had a passion for football, western movies, and country music. Above all, Buddy had a unique talent for writing poetry. He delighted his family by reciting his humorous poems, bringing laughter and joy into their lives.

Buddy was the loving son of the late Clarence Francis Nahm Sr. and Adele Rose Nahm. He was preceded in death by his beloved companion of over 35 years, Barbara Laur, who passed away in August 2025.

He is survived by his daughter, Jackie Winston; his son, Clifford Nahm; and his siblings: Sally Matthews, Nancy Nahm, Peggy Hahn, Dolly Robinson, Mark Nahm, Teresa Larsson, Tim Nahm, Chris Nahm, Steve Nahm, and Greg Nahm.

A celebration of Buddy’s life will be organized at a future date. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched-a testament to a life lived with loyalty, consideration, and an unforgettable sense of humor.
