Clara Mae Westhause, 95, passed away at Freedom Pointe Independent Living, The Villages on January 30, 2026.
Born in South Milwaukee, WI to Jacob and Frances Janikowski (Prodzinski).
On July 20, 1957, Clara married Robert Westhause at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Oak Creek, WI. They lived in Wisconsin until her and Bob retired to The Villages in 1998. Together they traveled the world during their 64 years of marriage.
Clara was a member of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in The Villages. She also was a member of The Wisconsin Club and The Celtics Club. During her time in The Villages, Clara was the Treasurer of her village, Tierra Del Sol. She also enjoyed playing golf, the theatre, crafts and games. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. Clara had one of those laughs that was infectious, so everyone laughed when she laughed!
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents, 10 siblings (including her twin sister) and their spouses.
Clara is survived by several nieces and nephews who are proud to call her Aunt Clara. She’s the Aunt that everyone wishes they had.
Cremation has already taken place through Beyers Funeral Home. Interment will take place at The Gardens of Boca Raton at a later date.
