Multiple injuries were reported in a crash Tuesday night on the bridge over Lake Sumter in The Villages.
A white Subaru SUV and a black Jeep Wrangler were traveling in opposite directions at 6:50 p.m. when they collided on the Morse Boulevard bridge, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
All occupants of both vehicles were transported to local area hospitals with non-life threatening injures.
The accident shut down traffic on the bridge. This crash remains under investigation.
