Since the speed limit in the area was 35 mph, the officer turned around to stop Stevener near The Villages Woodshop, located at 704 Oak St. A subsequent check of his driver’s license showed one child support suspension and two failures to pay, the report said.

The Connecticut native was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended with knowledge. He was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $500 bond.
