A two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near the Laurel Manor Recreation Center sent both drivers to the hospital.

Emergency personnel were at the scene of the crash near Laurel Manor Recreation Center.

The driver of Nissan Rogue SUV shortly before 2 p.m. crossed Buena Vista Boulevard at Parr Drive going to Laurel Manor Drive, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The driver pulled in front of a Chevy pickup which was traveling north on Buena Vista Boulevard, leading to a collision.

The driver of this Nissan Rogue was injured in the crash and was also ticketed.

Both drivers were transported for non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital

The driver of the Nissan was cited for failure to yield.
