Thomas William Griffin, 84, a beloved family man and decorated Marine Corps veteran, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2025, at the Bradley House Hospice surrounded by his loved ones.

He was a loving family man, married to his wife Maureen “Renee” for 57 years before her passing in 2022. He and his wife loved to travel and spend time with their grandchildren.

He is survived by his children: Dennis, Michael and Christine. He was the proud grandfather to Megan, Taylor, and Jake.

Born in the Bronx, New York, to the late Thomas and Margaret Griffin, Tom grew up with a strong sense of duty that led him to join the U.S. Marine Corps in 1962. He served his country with distinction and pride, rising to a notable role as a member of the elite Presidential Honor Guard, the prestigious Silent Drill Team and serving in Vietnam. His military service was a source of great pride throughout his life.

Following his honorable discharge, Tom built a successful career as an Electronic Sales Executive, rising to the position of President for three different companies throughout his career. Thomas retired after 34 years in the industry in 2001.

Outside of his professional, military and family life, Thomas had a passion for golfing and politics.

A funeral service will be held on February 27, 2026 at St Vincent de Paul church in Wildwood at 11:00 a.m. He will be interred with military honors at the Bushnell Florida National Cemetery, at 2:00 p.m.
