Wildwood commissioners gave final approval Monday night to the first building at the giant Monarch Ranch industrial park.
What business will occupy the 126,636-square-foot industrial warehouse known as Monarch Ranch Building 1 has not been disclosed.

Commissioners approved a site plan and a planned development ordinance for the project south of State Road 44 about a half mile west of U.S. 301.
The planned development ordinance allows up to 500,000 square feet of industrial space on the 49-acre site known as Monarch Ranch North. The property was annexed to Wildwood last year.
Monarch Ranch Building 1 will have five loading areas and 211 parking spaces, including eight handicapped spaces. The developers were granted a technical waiver to reduce the depth of parking spaces from 20 to 18 feet.
The site plan designates an area for the building’s future expansion.
Owners of the Wildwood property are 75 Turnpike BDC, LLC, and 75 Turnpike VDC, LLC.
The entire 3,400-acre Monarch Ranch stretches to Interstate 75 and the Florida Turnpike.
One of two mega industrial sites in Florida, it is the largest area of vacant industrial land between Orlando and Tampa.
Benderson Development bought the ranch two years ago for $40 million in partnership with The Villages.
