Warren was apparently enraged when his live-in lady friend invited the male friend down from Georgia. She met the friend at the Comfort Inn and Suites before the two of them got into a golf cart to go dancing at Spanish Springs Town Square. Warren, who stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 330 pounds, confronted them near Veterans Memorial Park on Paige Place. The other man was airlifted to UF Health Shands in Gainesville where he underwent surgery. A razor blade was recovered near Veterans Memorial Park.

The woman claims Warren has been abusive to her and she was trying to escape the relationship. Records show he was charged with battery in Georgia in 2024, but the charge was later dismissed.
