Glenda Ellen Supino, age 85, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026, due to complications from dementia. She was born March 17, 1940, in Bangor, Maine and moved to Danvers, Massachusetts at age five, where she graduated from Danvers High School in 1958.
There she met her high school sweetheart, Robert “Bob” Joseph Supino, Sr. Known by classmates as the “cutest couple,” they married in 1959 and shared nearly 67 years of marriage before Bob’s passing in 2025.
She was a devoted wife and sensational mother who always made time for her husband and three children. Our home was filled with comfort, well-prepared meals, Sunday dinners and plenty of clothes lovingly provided. We never wanted for anything. She was always there-driving to hockey practices at 5 a.m., cheering at weekend softball games and making sure we could swim and try new adventures like snow skiing and water skiing. She never missed a birthday party and every holiday was celebrated with joy and creativity. Whether it was stockings overflowing with gifts at Christmas or pistachio nuts tucked into Easter baskets, she made childhood magical. To us, she was Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and any other joyful role she could take on to make life special.
She is survived by her children Robert Joseph Supino Jr., William Bruce Supino, and Jodi Supino Elliott, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.
A semi-private Celebration of Life honoring Glenda and Bob Supino will be held in July at their daughter’s home in Florida. Those wishing to attend, or who would like to send a card or note to be shared with the family, may contact Jodi or another family member for more information.
A second Celebration of Life for Bob and Glenda will be held on August 2, 2026, at Maple Street Church, 90 Maple Street, Danvers, MA. The service will be from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with fellowship to follow until 5:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend at any time. Memories may be shared at www.online-tribute.com/GlendaSupino
