An enraged woman allegedly attacked her ex-gal pal at the new Walmart in The Villages.
Bryana Alease DeSheers, 23, of Ocala, was reportedly furious when she saw that her ex-girlfriend posted a video on social media showing her wearing DeSheers’ glasses, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

DeSheers, who had dated the other woman for about eight months before breaking up two months ago, began texting her former gal pal, demanding the return of her glasses. DeSheers indicated she was coming to the ex-girlfriend’s workplace, but the ex-girlfriend said she preferred to meet at a park when her shift ended.
Against the ex-girlfriend’s wishes, DeSheers showed up shortly before 9 a.m. Monday in the parking lot of the new Walmart at State Road 44 and Morse Boulevard in The Villages.
DeSheers was behaving in an “aggressive manor” when she pulled into the parking lot and demanded the return of her glasses. The ex-girlfriend attempted to turn over the glasses, but DeSheers would not accept them and began “yanking” on the door handle of the ex-girlfriend’s vehicle. DeSheers reached inside, unlocked the car door and tried to pull her ex-girlfriend out of the vehicle. The ex-girlfriend frantically clung to the steering wheel while DeSheers leaned up against the car.
The ex-girlfriend later told police that DeSheers “started beating on me.” She successfully extricated the ex-girlfriend from the vehicle.
The two women wrapped their arms around each other’s neck and DeSheers, who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, gained the upper hand in the scuffle. The ex-girlfriend fell to the ground and DeSheers “kneed her in the face” before “slamming her head against the ground.” DeSheers’ friend intervened and separated the two women. DeSheers fled the scene.
An ambulance from The Villages Public Safety Department arrived at Walmart and EMS personnel transported the ex-girlfriend to the UF Health Brownwood Emergency Clinic. She had suffered scratch marks and contusions on her neck and head. She also complained of pain in her head and wrist.
DeSheers eventually showed up at the Wildwood Police Department hoping to file a police report against her ex-girlfriend. Officers arrested DeSheers on a charge of battery, believing she had been the primary aggressor.
She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center where bond was set at $1,500.
