To the Editor:
In the past month I have seen three motorbikes or motor scooters on our multi-modal paths. Do they get a free pass?
While there are no doubt some irresponsible E-bike riders, I am far more concerned with careless, irresponsible golf cart drivers. They sometimes buzz by pedestrians or bicycle riders clearing them by two feet or worse. They also come around blind corners on the wrong side of the path. Given the differences in mass of a golf cart versus and E-bike, the golf carts pose a far greater risk.
