A Villager who was arrested last month after a young girl reported seeing “weird stuff” on his phone is facing 20 fresh child porn charges.
Dennis Glick, 78, of the Village of Caroline, was booked Wednesday at the Sumter County Detention Center on 20 new felony charges of possession of obscene images depicting child sexual performance. A judge set bond at $20,000.
The latest arrest report was nearly completely redacted by the sheriff’s office prior to release to the media. Those heavy redactions would appear to reflect the severity of the charges the Iowa native is facing.
Glick had been released on $25,000 bond on March 26 following his previous arrest on March 25.
An investigation had been launched “regarding possible inappropriateness” between Glick “and a 9-year-old female child,” according to the sheriff’s office. The child told an investigator she had seen “weird stuff” on Glick’s phone, which she described as “teenage girls without clothing.”
