A woman was transported by ambulance to the hospital in The Villages after a three-car crash near a recreation center.

The woman was driving a silver Hyundai at about 3:30 p.m. Friday westbound on County Road 466 when she attempted to make a left hand turn onto Laurel Manor Drive and into the Laurel Manor Recreation Center when her car was struck by a Dodge truck which had been eastbound on County Road 466, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

After it was struck by the pickup, the woman’s car rolled into a Honda sedan which was waiting to exit Laurel Manor and turn onto County Road 466.

The woman suffered a possible dislocated shoulder and was taken to UF Health-Spanish Plaines Hospital.
