James Thomas Pugh, 60, passed away in The Villages, Florida on April 4, 2026.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio 1965 to Hollis Pugh and Hallie May McGuire. He was a member of the Church Of The Lakes in Leesburg, FL.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle alongside his friends in the JC Roaddogs Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed helping people, and watching the Steelers. Most of all, he loved his family and Jesus. His favorite verse was Matthew 6:33. He loved to spread the word of the Lord.
He is survived by his wife Dale Lynn Pugh of Leesburg, FL; Daughters: Catherine Barber (Russell) of Jacksonville, FL, and Mackenzie (Robert) Gordon of Leesburg, FL; Stepdaughters: Heather Sutherland of Gardner, Massachusetts, Ashley Kirkland of Weirsdale, FL, Kristine Sutherland (Clarence Campbell) of Leesburg, FL; Grandchildren: Gracie, Noah, Melody, Alisha, Jaiden, Gabriel, Aria, Austin (Jillian), Dallas, Brooklynn, Ashton, and Asher; Great Granddaughter: Emersyn, Brothers: Terry (Monica) Pugh of New Smyrna, FL, and Don (Carol) Richmond of Whitney, TX. He was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Pugh.
