The United States military is measured not only by its unmatched capabilities, but by its commitment to every man and woman who serves.
That commitment was on full display this weekend when U.S. forces and intelligence executed a daring mission to rescue the crew of a downed F-15 deep inside Iranian territory.
While the pilot was recovered shortly after the crash, the weapons systems officers endured more than 36 hours behind enemy lines as American forces carried out a complex and high-risk mission to bring him home.
This operation is a powerful reminder that the United States military remains the most capable and disciplined force in the world, guided by the promise of never leaving our own behind.
We continue to pray for a full recovery of these brave service members, and for the safety of all for serve our country.
