To the Editor:
I am an owner of an E-bike and ride the multi-modal paths. I think it comes down to common sense and respect for the fellow people that use them.
As for control on speed, my E-bike will only go 19 mph. I think that’s fast enough. I blame the manufacturers for increasing the speed.
These E-bikes are lots of fun to ride I just enjoy the assist on hills. I pedal constantly, not every one does, but I enjoy the exercise.
It’s too bad that radar couldn’t be used to detect speeders.
The only way to get their attention is to fine a bunch of wrongdoers. That usually works as a rule, as for wasting money on signs, they will be ignored by many. If you attack their wallets that always gets their attention.
