A Villager has been arrested after repeatedly yelling at a woman who lives on the same street.
William Henry Lewis, 56, who lives in the Perdido Villas in the Village of Pinellas, was being held without bond at the Sumter County Detention Center following his arrest Saturday by Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

A woman said each time she has left her house, Lewis has yelled at her, according to the report. Lewis and the woman live on the same street, a few houses apart. Lewis had been standing in his garage with the door open when he yelled at her. A neighbor verified the woman’s account of what has been transpiring.
Lewis has been under a court order not to have contact with the woman following his arrest in March on a charge of domestic battery.
In that incident, Lewis had been invited into the woman’s home and the Pennsylvania native apparently suspected the woman had been drinking. He took a sip of her beverage and then, apparently enraged, he used both hands to throw her against a wall. He choked her and used his fist to punch her in the lip.
Lewis had been convicted in 2024 of felony battery on a person over the age of 65. In that incident, he grabbed a woman by her wrists. Lewis had been having a romantic relationship with the woman’s daughter.
