A home on the Palmer Legends golf course in the Village of Bridgeport at Lake Sumter was just sold for $1.4 million, nearly doubling its previous sales price.

Located at 1345 Harley Circle, the property was sold by Dr. Joseph Pabon to Dennis Blough and Laura Herrington for $1,450,000 on March 17.

The 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 3,865-square-foot home was built in 2006. It is situated on a 0.51-acre lot along the Riley Grove nine holes at Palmer Legends, which is located at 1635 Palmer Way.

According to Sumter County property records, Pabon purchased the home with his late wife, Daisy, for $800,000 in 2014.

Prior to the Pabons, the home was owned by Monica and Raymond Peidl, who purchased it new for $795,200 in February 2006.
