Deputies ultimately found Hartley on Wednesday morning at the Halfmoon Lake Boat Ramp just south of the intersection of Northeast 196th Avenue Road and East Highway 40 in Silver Springs, according to an arrest report from the MCSO.

She told them about her travels in the time she had been reported missing, during which a deputy pointed out a white bottle on her person. He asked what was inside, and she stated it was marijuana that she got from a “stranger” while she was traveling through the Ocala National Forest, the report said.

Hartley then showed the contents of the white bottle to the deputy, who recognized it as marijuana. She did not have a medical marijuana card, the report said.

She was arrested on charge of possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams) and booked at Marion County Jail. She was released after posting $1,000 bond.
