Fans of President Trump are planning the largest golf cart parade in the history of The Villages in honor of his 80th birthday.
The Republican Assembly of Sumter County is planning the parade for June 14.
“We are organizing a golf cart parade and it is going to be the biggest one ever, in The Villages,” said Diana Hammond of the RASC. “It’s going to be dynamic. In The Villages, we are obsessive about our love for President Trump.”
She said the upcoming Trump golf cart parade will easily out number all previous parades.
“It’s our way of showing support for the president. This man has changed us. He has made us better. We want to do this to honor him. He does everything to honor us as citizens. We want to honor him.”
There will be three starting points – Ezell Recreation Center, Fenney Recreation Center and Lake Sumter Landing.
The parade will be followed by a BBQ dinner with a disc jockey and dancing. A birthday cake will also be served.
