A homeless man was arrested on a warrant Monday for trespassing at the Oakland Hills Professional Center on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake.
A deputy responded to the professional center regarding a trespassing complaint on April 14, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he found 34-year-old Cody Charles Callahan sitting on an office chair, sleeping with his feet up behind a building.

Callahan stated he was on the property because his leg hurt. But the manager of the building advised that Callahan had been told that he was not allowed on the property. He had even been trespassed before on March 13, the report said.
Due to a serious injury, he was then taken to a hospital rather than jail. A warrant was later issued for his arrest, which was served on Monday evening. The Oklahoma native was charged with trespassing and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center with bond set at $1,000.
