A recreational vehicle was destroyed by flames at a mobile home park in Wildwood.
The Sumter County Fire Department responded Thursday afternoon to the fire at Oak Grove Village on State Road 44, located between Freedom Plaza and the American Legion.
One large RV was destroyed by the blaze and a second RV was heavily damaged.
The blaze snarled traffic on State Road 44 and a Florida Highway Patrol officer was the scene to assist with traffic.
