The Villages told me my water filter was ’too strong’

To the Editor:

I also have a full house water filter system. My filters are filthy within one to two months. They start white and are soon full of dirt and particles. It appears to be actual soil dirt and floating particles. I do not drink from my house faucet but use only the water double filtered through my refrigerator. I requested a visit from The Villages water people and was told my filter was “too strong.” People are drinking this water! What is the quality in the newer areas?
