A Jacksonville man warned away from a local Wawa in the morning was arrested for trespassing where he returned there later in the day.
A deputy responded to a trespass complaint at Wawa on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake around 12:55 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he found 60-year-old David Jim Browning sitting on the ground near the north-most fuel pump.

The deputy knew he had already been trespassed from that location due to being on the original call at 4:53 that morning. He also had an extensive criminal history with numerous offenses, the report said.
Browning was arrested on charge of trespassing and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. Bond was at $1,000, and a hold from Indiana was placed on him.
