A Wildwood man was arrested on a warrant this week after allegedly threatening to harm a woman and her children in a voicemail.
Back in January, deputies spoke with a physically shaken and fearful woman at the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office according to an arrest report. She said that 36-year-old Darius J-Vod Leonard Harris had threatened her.

She had blocked his number. The call log on her phone showed 18 missed calls from a blocked number, all of which were from Harris. He left multiple voicemails that made her feel very disturbed and uneasy, the report said.
In the first one, Harris stated he was going to come to Wildwood, find wherever she was, and hurt her and her kids. He threatened to post something of them online in the second, and in the last, he threatened to kill her rather than call her anymore. The victim feared for her life and the well-being of her children to the point that she was going to buy a gun, the report said.
The victim went on to receive more calls and messages through friends from Harris after her initial report, the report said.
Harris was ultimately arrested on Tuesday night on a warrant charging him with aggravated stalking. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center without bond.
