I wish we didn’t have to be at each other’s throats over politics

To the Editor:

I wish we didn’t have to be at each other’s throats over politics. I wish I could go to a restaurant, a social or even church without politics taking over the conversation.

We live in The Villages, Florida’s Friendliest Hometown, and we have a lot to be thankful for.

Both sides, and I mean both sides, need to tone it down. Let’s just be polite.
