A resident of Lake Sumter Apartments was arrested for driving with an invalid license after losing her privileges due to a driving under the influence arrest.
A deputy spotted 35-year-old Nicole Faith Williams driving a white Ford passenger car with dark window tint around 9 a.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Due to this, he stopped her at the intersection of County Roads 723 and 752 in Webster.

Williams handed over an ID card and stated her license privileges had been revoked because of a DUI. She claimed she’d paid the financial responsibilities needed for a hardship license, but she had no paperwork to prove it. She also advised that her lawyer told her that she could drive, saying there was a 10-day grace period, the report said.
However, a check of her driving records did not find a hardship license. It also confirmed that her license had been revoked due to failing to comply with a breath, blood or urine test after a DUI. She had active suspensions on her license, as well, the report said.
Williams was arrested on charge of driving while license suspended or revoked. She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.
