An Ocklawaha woman was arrested on drug charges after being stopped with crack cocaine in her bra.
Officers stopped 69-year-old Kim Marie Jeffrey who was a passenger in a vehicle with its high beams on near the intersection of County Road 466 and Rolling Acres Road around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. The vehicle was known for frequenting areas with high drug activity.

Jeffrey appeared nervous and fidgety as the driver consented to a search of the vehicle. A K-9 then alerted to the passenger side of the vehicle, so both occupants were ordered to step out. A search of the driver and the vehicle yielded nothing, and officers turned their attention to Jeffrey for a light search, the report said.
This revealed a piece of Brillo in her front right pocket. When asked if she had anything in her bra, she stated she had a piece of tissue paper. She then pulled down the straps of her bra, causing a crumbled piece of tin foil used as the covering for a cigarette pack to fall out from under her shirt, the report said.
An officer determined the foil contained two small pieces of crack cocaine weighing 0.69 grams. Jeffrey stated she had been using crack for the past 35 years, the report said.
Jeffrey was subsequently instructed to turn around and put her hands behind her back. She began to resist, and control holds were used to gain compliance and put her in handcuffs, the report said.
The New Jersey native was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting officer without violence. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $4,500 bond.
