A Lady Lake woman was arrested on prostitution charges following an undercover law enforcement operation at a massage parlor in Summerfield.

Yan Deng, 46, was taken into custody on Thursday, June 11, by members of the Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team on a misdemeanor charge of solicitation of prostitution

According to an arrest affidavit filed in the Marion County Court system, the strike team initiated the investigation after receiving an anonymous tip alleging that illegal prostitution was taking place inside Snow White Massage, which is located at 17860 SE 109th Ave, Suite 615, within The Spruce Creek Terrace Shoppes in Summerfield

The report states that an undercover agent entered the establishment and made contact with Deng, requesting a standard 30-minute massage.

Deng allegedly escorted the agent into a private room and quoted a price of $50 for the massage session. As the interaction continued, Deng explicitly offered to engage in sexual intercourse with the undercover agent in exchange for a separate fee of $160.

Once the illicit transaction was verbally agreed upon, assisting strike team agents moved to converge on the facility to secure the arrest. However, upon entering the business, the responding units discovered that Deng had already exited the building through a rear door and fled toward an adjacent commercial property.

Investigators noted that the massage parlor was monitored by an active security camera system. Based on the circumstances, agents reported that Deng appeared to have monitored the live surveillance feed, observed the approaching law enforcement vehicles, and immediately fled the premises.

Agents tracked Deng down at the neighboring business and took her into custody without any further incident. During a search of the immediate area, authorities located a blue zipper pouch that contained the pre-recorded U.S. currency provided by the undercover operative for the transaction.

Deng was subsequently processed and transported to the Marion County Jail by a sheriff’s deputy. According to jail booking data, her bond was set at $1,000 and she bonded out on Friday, June 12.
