
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William Imhoff, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who peacefully departed this world on June 1, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 7, 1935, in Murphysboro, Illinois, Bill’s life was defined by love, laughter, and unwavering faith.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Dottie, with whom he shared an extraordinary 70 years of marriage. Together they built a life filled with cherished memories and a deep-rooted love that served as an inspiring testament to their family and friends.
Bill retired from Frito-Lay/PepsiCo after 35 years of service, where he served as a regional sales manager covering southern Illinois, southern Indiana, and Kentucky.
Bill and Dottie were residents of The Villages for 20 years. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, and pickleball, and cherished time spent with friends. Known for his humor and kindness, he was a member of Fairway Christian Church. His devotion to his faith was reflected in his everyday actions and genuine care for others.
Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Cynthia Tanner and her husband, Rick, of Cumming, Georgia; and his daughter-in-law, Linda Imhoff of Union, Kentucky. He was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Virgil and Marguerite Imhoff, and his son, Tom Imhoff.
