It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly “Bev” Louise Wildoner who departed this life on June 11, 2026, at the age of 69 in The Villages, Florida.
Bev was born on February 25, 1957, in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Walter and Louise (Nestor) Lawrence. Bev’s journey led her to Washington, D.C. at the age of 18 to begin her career with the federal government. She resided in Maryland where she eventually took a job working at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center where she was a devoted employee until retiring at the age of 55 after 36 years of dedicated service, the majority of those years working for The Office of General Counsel. After retirement she moved to The Villages retirement community in Florida where she spent her days relaxing when she wasn’t enjoying her love of travel.
In addition to her parents, Bev is preceded in death by her husband Michael S. Wildoner. Her memory will live on as she is survived by her daughter, Christina M. Ackerman (Michael) of Pasadena, MD; her sister, Sharon A. Rogers (Michael) of The Villages, FL; two grandsons, Ethan and Cameron; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. Bev was also blessed with many dear friendships throughout her life. She leaves behind cherished friends Robert Watkins, Judy Davis, Sheila Hall, Diane Teets, and countless others whose lives were enriched by her kindness, warmth, and enduring friendship.
In accordance with Bev’s wishes, no formal service will be held, as the family intends to honor her memory in private. For those who wish to pay tribute to her life, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Cornerstone Hospice.
Bev had much life left in her and although her life was cut short, her legacy will live on in and through her family and friends. While death is inevitable, this is a very important reminder to cherish the time you are alive and spend everyday as if it were your last. Make the memories. Capture the moments. Lead with kindness. Love the way you want to be loved. Bev may be gone from our sight, but she will forever remain in our hearts.
