Tina Corcoran

Tina Marie Corcoran, 55, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at Cornerstone Hospice in The
Villages, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on April 30, 1971, on Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Tina was the beloved daughter of Patrick Corcoran and Marolyn Wilson. She lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, determination, and unconditional love. She was stubborn as a mule and loved with her whole heart. She never seemed to understand the meaning of the word “no” when someone she cared about needed help, and whether it was family, friends, neighbors, or even a stray animal, Tina always found a way to lend a hand.

Tina was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Corcoran; her beloved son, Daniel; and her brother, Terry. While the losses she endured throughout her life were profound, she faced each challenge with remarkable strength and an unwavering devotion to her family.

She is survived by her son, Joel Huffman Jr. (Kelly); her daughter, Monica Everetts (Philip); her cherished grandchildren, Xavier, Skylar, Lexi, Caroline, and Archer; her longtime partner and companion of nearly thirty years, Roger Keith Myers; her mother, Marolyn Wilson; her siblings Rhonda, Cliff, Bobby, Randy, Patrick, and Angie; her lifelong friend and chosen sister, Sheryl; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Throughout her life, Tina dedicated herself to helping others. She spent many years working for her father’s fencing company before pursuing a career in the medical field. Her caring nature led her to work in hospitals and nursing homes, where she touched the lives of countless patients and families through her kindness and compassion. She continued serving others until her illness mad it impossible for her to continue working. Beyond her professional life, Tina had a deep love for animals.

For nearly fifteen years, she proudly bred Miniature Pinschers and found immense joy in raising and caring for her dogs. She was passionate about the breed and took great pride in the puppies she raised and the love and attention she gave to every dog in her care. One of the most treasured relationships in Tina’s life was the lifelong friendship she shared with her dear friend, Sheryl. Though not related by blood, the two considered each other family and remained close from their teenage years onward. Together they shared countless adventures, family vacations, laughter, and memories that spanned decades. As grandmothers, Tina and Sheryl found special joy in creating lasting memories with their grandchildren. Whether it was a day trip, a week-long getaway, or a spontaneous adventure, they loved taking their granddaughters on outings and building memories that will be cherished for generations. Their friendship was a beautiful example of loyalty, love, and the family we choose throughout life.

She loved sewing and crafting, especially when it meant spending time with her grandchildren. As a young woman, she often made many of her own clothes, showcasing the creativity and determination that remained with her throughout her life. She enjoyed country music, fishing, and big trucks, but nothing brought her more happiness than being surrounded by her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, and the moments she spent with them were among her most treasured memories. Tina also had a special love for lighthouses and dolphins.

Like a lighthouse guiding ships safely home, she served as a source of strength, comfort, and direction for her family and friends through every season of life. Her love, wisdom, and unwavering support will continue to guide those she leaves. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love she shared, the lessons she taught, and the memories she created will live on forever.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and memory, share stories, and celebrate the love, laughter, and kindness she brought into the lives of so many.

A Memorial Visitation and Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home 606 SW 2nd Avenue, Ocala, FL 34471.

“Like a lighthouse on the shore, her love will continue to guide us even after she is gone.”
