To the Editor:
It seems every day a Democrat has to espouse another idiotic view that I’m impelled to respond to. Ms. Shearer is obviously well-educated, but she must have forgotten to take the class that addresses truth and common sense!
She alluded to the cost associated with the Iran incursion. May I remind you that between the cost of your party’s programs, the loss we experienced with the equipment left behind in Afghanistan, and the money we have sent to Ukraine, it has cost every man, woman, and child in America an estimated $2,300! Also, ask any veteran if they are better off today than what they experienced under the Obama and Biden presidencies. The answer will be a big “yes!”
Another mistake Ms. Shearer has made is the claim regarding the ballroom; it is privately financed, and no taxpayer money is being used! I am a proponent of the state of Israel, but the Democratic Party is not. How can you be a loyalist to an obviously anti-Israel party? I’m sure you are a nice lady, but you clearly have severe TDS symptoms!
