A resident of the Village of Silver Lake on the Historic Side of The Villages was arrested Monday morning after a traffic stop revealed she was driving without a valid license.
Julia Mary Primiano, 32, was pulled over by a Sumter County sheriff’s deputy at 7:25 a.m. at the Wawa on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Lady Lake. The deputy initiated the stop after observing Primiano’s 2004 Hyundai sedan fail to stop at a posted stop sign at the intersection of NE 86th Drive and NE 135th Crossing.

When asked for her driver’s license, Primiano produced a Florida identification card and admitted it was the only form of identification she had. A database check confirmed that Primiano did not possess a valid driver’s license in any U.S. state, noting that her New Jersey license had expired in April 2024.
Primiano was taken into custody and transported to the Sumter County Detention Center. She was released after posting $500 bond.
