A 39-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested Monday afternoon following a domestic dispute that turned physical at a local residence.
Eulises Gilberto Tirado was taken into custody by the Lady Lake Police Department at his home on Padgett Circle on a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.

Officers responded to the residence at approximately 3:35 p.m. regarding a physical altercation, according to the arrest affidavit. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim, who explained that an argument with Tirado had escalated. The victim stated that Tirado faced them, assumed a “bladed stance,” and balled his fists as if preparing to launch an attack. Tirado then allegedly shoved the victim in the chest using both of his open hands.
Responding officers noted that no injuries were observable on the victim, who confirmed that no injuries were sustained during the push.
According to the report, Tirado and the victim have been in a romantic relationship for approximately one year and have cohabitated as a family for the past six months.
Tirado, a native of Massachusetts, was transported to the Lake County Jail without further incident. He was later released after posting a $1,000 bond.
