Janice Louise Shick, 69, from The Villages, Florida, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2026. Janice was born on August 20, 1956 in Abington, Pennsylvania to her parents, Clarence Mervin Shick and Sally Ann (Yeutter) Shick.
Janice had worked many years in the Insurance Industry as an Insurance Broker and owned her own business called “Medicare Savings Pro”. She moved to the Largo area from Marietta, GA then relocated to The Villages. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg – Village Park Campus, Fruitland Park, FL. She enjoyed traveling with friends, dining out, dancing and loved the beach.
Janice was always generous and kind. She was a life long animal lover, and helped with shelters and rescues whenever time allowed.
Janice is survived by her siblings: Valarie Nave and her significant other David Stiteler of Eagleville, PA and also Cliff Shick and wife, Venty Lestari of Braselton, GA.
Viewing and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 2:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home Chapel, Wildwood, Florida with Pastor Tom Golden officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the funeral home from 12:00PM till the hour of service.
The family has requested donations be made to local Spay and Save, or First Baptist Church of Leesburg – Village Park Campus in Janice’s loving memory.
