Ronald E. Hands, age 82, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on May 24, 2026.
Born to the late Alvin Thomas Hands and Thelma Watts Hands, Ron was a graduate of Unionville High School and later attended Goldey Beacom College. He enjoyed a successful career in plumbing sales, where he was known for his knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to serving his customers.
Ron found great enjoyment in life’s simple pleasures. An avid reader, he also loved spending time outdoors gardening, golfing, hunting, and fishing. These hobbies brought him both relaxation and happiness throughout his life.
Above all, Ron cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marie Paula Hands (née Okonowicz), along with many relatives and friends who will remember him with love and affection.
Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Cathedral Cemetery, 2400 Lancaster Avenue, Wilmington, Delaware 19805.
