To the Editor:
Our cul-de-sac is quiet and neighbors watch out for each other. The house next door to me has been a rental for more than three years. When the homeowner lived here, she was renting rooms. She hasn’t been here other than a short-term visit to list the house after a police action there. I put in a pool and got all ARC approvals through T&D. Yesterday, I got a call from Community Standards saying this neighbor complained about my pool equipment. It is on the side of my house hidden from direct view from the street. You have to drive three-quarters of the way around our cul-de-sac to see it. I was told I need to cover the equipment. The worst part is she doesn’t even live here and the place is up for sale, but I’m stuck with the possible added expense of landscaping.
