I can usually tell when a letter gets published when it is from a Fox viewer as they repeat what Fox told them to think and believe, even though it may not be accurate.
According to a study by Farleigh Dickerson University, (2012) it was found people who watched only Fox are the least knowledgable about current events and politics then people who watched no news at all.
Fox has been caught lying numerous times. Rupert Murdoch, their owner, admitted under oath their host lied about a stolen election and paid a fine for it.
A Yale study (2022) found that when Fox viewers switched to CNN their learning increased.
Columbia U and St.Louis U (2026) found Fox “alters volume and substance of information.”
University of Virginia Texas A&M (2025) found Fox uses fear and rhetoric.
So Fox uses lies, rhetoric, inaccurate information, and partisan bias.
So why are people watching and quoting them as gospel truth? They truly are opinion… not news.
