A Texas man was arrested for driving without a license after signaling the wrong turn at an intersection.

A deputy on patrol spotted 24-year-old Victor Manuel Bermudes-Tolen driving a red Kia Optima on County Road 470 in Lake Panasoffkee around 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle signaled a left turn before making a right turn onto County Road 437, which was not only incorrect but occurred less than 100 feet from the intersection. The deputy then stopped Bermudes-Tolen, who advised that he did not have a driver’s license, the report said.

The native of Mexico was arrested on charge of operate motor vehicle without valid license and given a warning for the improper turn and signaling. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.
